About me

Certified Sun Mysql Al-Fallouji Bashar

What do I do?

I am an IT consultant and co-founder at DevMotion. Those last years, I have helped multiple large publishing organizations designing and customizig content management solutions to handle their large amount of content, to syndicate it and push it on the web. I have worked with organizations such as Reed Business Information, Bonnier, Transcontinental, Quebecor, Gesca Numerique, NAPCO, Impremedia, etc.

My strong experience in the world of epublishing allows me to understand perfectly the problematic and complexity of data workflow, end user requirements, building an application for the future, integration with various third party applications, etc.

I have strong analysis skills that allow me to perform detailled business and technical analysis. I have designed the architecture of various solutions and have a good knowledge in project management and project phases.

I am particularly interested in Web applications, Usability, Accessibility, Information Architecture, and XP/Agile development. I have trained and supported various teams of developers.

During all those years, I had the opportunity to use different programming languages, such as: PHP, SQL, C, Java, HTML, Javascript (Ajax), DHTML, XML / XSL, etc.

Also, I had the opportunity to play multiple roles, such as:

  • Solution Architect;
  • Business analyst;
  • Pre-sale engineer;
  • Senior developer;
  • Technical lead;
  • Team lead.

Education

I hold a master degree of science (M.Sc.) in IT Management and a bachelor degree in computer science. I have also obtained a Zend Engineer Certification (PHP certification) and a Sun Mysql Certification.
